I’m nail-bitingly delighted to discover that I’ve been named on the shortlist for a residency at Free Word in London alongside the novelist Xiaolu Guo and the poet Inua Ellams. The residency is international in scope and is part of Free Word’s Weather Stations project, which seeks to creatively explore the issues surrounding climate change through literature. The selected writer will be announced on the 12 November at an event marking the relaunch of the Free Word centre following its recent refurbishment. You can read more about the shortlist on the Free Word website here.
