Over the next week I’ll be taking part in Thinking Digital Arts, the all new arts strand for the Thinking Digital conference curated by Suzy O’Hara. The two events I’m involved in (both taking place in the NewBridge Project and Maker Space):
19 May | 7-9pm
Dr Sarah Cook will be chairing a conversation with artists, curators, writers and researchers working across digital media and small-press publishing, to discuss the effects of the evolving digital landscape on artistic production, publication and collaboration.
20 May 5-7pm at NewBridge Project Gallery
On Tuesday 20th May, Thinking Digital Arts brings you the TDA Hack Workshop, hosted by Victoria Bradbury and Lalya Gaye. A total of twenty four artists, designers and hackers will come together at the NewBridge Project and Maker Space to create tangible reflections, comments, explorations and interpretations of the theme of ‘Decentralisation’.
The TDA Hack will end with a free public exhibition, on for one night only, where you can check out the innovative prototype projects that have been developed during the first TDA Hack. Featured artists include: Richard Broderick, Cally Gatehouse, Clifford Hammett, Antoine Kik, Shelly Knotts, Dave Lynch, Nora O’Murchu, Martin Reiche, Colin Rennie, Stevie Ronnie, Alexandra Sofie Jönsson, Andrew Wilson and Cay Green.
